"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of age."

When: Oct 8, 2009

I know the Girdwoods from church and also from babysitting the kids! There are 9 of them!!! But I’ll tell you what, they are a complete breeze to babysit because they are all so well behaved and respectful. More so, they absolutely adore and love each other. Their mom home-schools all of them and instead of playing with toys all the time, they do amazing arts and crafts and spend time hiking! They are currently waiting to hear about their baby boy who will be the 4th adopted child of the family. Keep them in prayer, he will be born anytime now!

Update:

M came home and had an amazing time in Asia. Some of the things that really touched her was a new Christian who told her that she MUST tell the people about Jesus because when she leaves there will be no one to tell them. Also, she and a few ladies in Asia were able to sing Amazing Grace despite the language barrier. The irony is that they were able to sing it in front of a huge statue of another religion. God is so faithful. M wants to give her heart away to Asia.

May 2010

M will be off to Asia at the end of the year to serve the Lord with her life amongst a lost people.

Missionary: Matt Bandy
Mission: Digging wells to provide Clean Water to the people of Liberia
When: April 16, 2009
Deadline to receive support: March 21, 09

I know Matt’s wife, Anna Bandy from a women’s Bible Study that I am a part of. I remember her saying that she and Matt would have conversations on what they would do if they ever won a million dollars. Aside from giving some away and saving, Matt said that he would go to Africa and dig wells for people to have clean water. What they both thought was just a passing-by conversation has turned into a reality. The Lord has made a way for Matt’s desire and now, Matt is going! "…$250 billion dollars was spent by Americans on Christmas. Only $10 billion is needed to solve all of the world’s water crisis… So now I have on my running shoes, I am preparing to go to Liberia to drill and maintain wells, as well as, develop relationships and share the Gospel with people there. "-Matt Please contact me if you have any questions on how you can support Matt through Rachel Hansen Photography or if you would like to give to his ministry on your own. website: Water Of Life Here are customers of Rachel Hansen Photography who are sending Matt to Liberia:

Update:

4/5/09 God is so neat. Matt has not only raised the amount of money he needed but has raised over $5000 dollars! With the extra money, a pre-existing Well in Liberia will be cleaned! How amazing is that?! The Lord is so good to provide! Matt quoted this awesome scripture: I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward. -Mark 9:41
